God’s favor will put you in positions that hustling can’t 🖤 My mom and I used to play in makeup together when I was like 7/8 just us, being girls together. She would do my makeup and take my pictures around the house and we would go to Costco & get them developed 🥹 with how quickly life changes sometimes I find myself forgetting the things I used to enjoy doing as a girl. I used to live for the days in college when my friends and I would all cram ourselves into the bathroom, turn on music, and do our makeup together before going out. Nars was the first big girl foundation I ever brought after years of hearing Jackie Aina rave about Macao. Needless to say I was obsessed. So for me to now be invited to such a beautiful dinner with NARS truly puts me in such a spirit of gratitude. 🖤 Life has changed so much & culture keeps us so focused on what’s next that sometimes we forget who we are at our core. I had begun to forget how much I enjoyed makeup & girlhood.
