Let’s address a few things:
— To have a “healthy core,” you should focus on stability through your entire trunk (abs and lower back). 💯
— Increasing your “speed” doesn’t have to mean you are sprinting football fields all of a sudden! It means training fast twitch muscle fibers for your longevity. 📈
— Healthy hips are IMPERATIVE for functional movement throughout life! 🕺🏻
The exercises given will help you accomplish all aspects of what was just stated above. Not only will you get a great workout, but you will get activation in your glutes, abs, hip flexors, obliques, and hamstrings. 🔥
Try incorporating this routine before or after a strength workout! OR as it’s own workout each week with some mobility. 👍🏼
1. Hip Bridge March — 3 x 10 each
2. Supine Hip Flexor March — 3 x 10 each
3. Adductor/Abductor March — 3 x 10 total each side
4. Fast Twitch Hip Bridge March — 3 x 30 sec.
⏰ Rest 15 seconds between each set!
