The secret to throwing another great party the day after a wedding, when you’re dealing with hungover and sometimes somewhat grumpy guests - whether it be a farewell brunch, a barbecue lunch or a pool party - is to make sure it feels completely different from what’s come before. If you’re going for a different location this is quite easy to achieve, but for Olivia & Henry guests were invited back to their beautiful glass marquee where the wedding reception had been hosted. We completely transformed it for the Sunday, replacing dining furniture with lounge seating, switching up the drinks menu to enliven jaded guests and setting up a cocktail caravan and @spook_ldn live fire pit cooking outside, with a DJ and sax inside. My favourite kinds of post-wedding brunches are the ones where the rose wine flows and before you know it the dance floor is packed again, and this was definitely one of those.
