I can’t express enough how changing my lifestyle back in the beginning of lockdown and the pandemic saved my life and helped me find myself more than ever. Being neuro divergent and undiagnosed up until I was 27 I really struggled with feeling misunderstood and also not always understanding myself.
Although having any diagnoses doesn’t “fix” anything, it really allowed me to find closure in some happenings in my past. It allowed me to dig deeper into why I am the way I am, but also the beauty in that, including these qualities that ‘neuro typical’ people may not display or experience.
Understanding these parts of me and changing my lifestyle enabled me to somehow truly accept who I’ve always been and embrace that. I have found meditation through running, generally being physically active and eating in a way that’s best for my body and I.
Since top surgery last September, my mental health, life, hormones (HRT) and routine have been on a mighty rollercoaster. It’s been really hard to navigate. All of the “negative” obstacles I’ve been through in my life have enabled me to find a way to always keep going and to hold onto that positive time I know I will get to if I keep going and don’t give up.
If you have got this far and you have followed me for a while or are new to following me, I just want to say thank you for the support. To all the people who say I’ve inspired them, you have all inspired me. I have so much appreciation to all those messages I’ve received over the years.
Sorry for the long post🫠I’m just a deep pisces🐠who loves to share my journey, thoughts and feels💕
