Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael is one of my all-time favorite movies so of course I had to find an excuse to write about it twice 😂 1. For my own newsletter, I wrote about the song “I Will Never Be the Same” by Melissa Etheridge and why it is one of my go-to songs to listen to while writing the third act breakup section of a romance, and then — 2. For the PopPoetry newsletter, I wrote about this scene from the movie where Winona Ryder’s character performs an original erotic poem right in her crush’s face during class and the whole thing is incredible (with a brief mention of my own overwrought poetry from my teen years) I’ll put links in my stories!
