I used to train 7x a week with an all or nothing mindset...If I wasnt drenched in sweat, it wasnt an effective workout in my mind 🤦🏻‍♀️ As a nutritionist, I knew what to eat (protein, veggies, healthy fats, whole grains and fiber filled carbs), but the problem was I wasn’t eating ENOUGH... I wasn’t eating enough + overtraining, which meant I constantly felt fatigued, I wasn’t seeing the progress I was working so hard to see, I was irritable, unmotivated & honestly didn’t feel strong despite lifting 4x a week... When I realized all my efforts weren’t taking me to where I wanted to be, I realized quickly it wasn’t WHAT I was eating, or my style of workouts, but instead it was my MINDSET..🤯 I had an unhealthy mindset around fitness & nutrition...an all or nothing mindset, with little room for balance, flexibility & honestly enjoyment. Once I worked on shifting my mentality & relationship with my body, and allowing for me flexibility...that’s when everything CHANGED.
