We are excited to share plans for enhancements to the Ferry Building that are designed to benefit the public, protect its status as a historic landmark and support the Ferry Building Marketplace’s beloved merchants. Improvements will include the creation of a plaza overlooking the San Francisco Bay with expanded seating, improved lighting and heating solutions, and more space to accommodate events and programming. Hours will also be extended in which visitors can enjoy dining in and around the Ferry Building with additional restaurants and improved lighting and heating solutions. The project will be conducted in phases to minimize disruption to tenants and visitors. The Marketplace and the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market will continue operating throughout construction.
