Hi friends, Long time no see. The truth is, my life over the last 12 months has completely changed. I went from being broke, living in my Rav4, to being able to make a living off my art with NFTs, save money for my future, and give back to others by helping and coaching people to get into NFTs, purchasing art from the artists I love and donating to different charities. These are all things that I couldn’t have been able without NFTs. If you still haven’t made the jump, I highly recommend starting now. It has changed thousands of lives and helped artist claim their power back while being compensated. I’ve been receiving hundreds of messages about how to get started, and the reality is that I don’t have enough time in my day to help everyone. So here are a few tips to help you get started. 1. Twitter : This is the most important point and is pretty much non-negotiable. Twitter is where the NFT community is. Twitter is where you can learn about everything. You need to fully immerse yourself in the community first. Support others by sharing their work, make connections, jump on twitter spaces to listen, learn and even talk about your work. Share some of your own work too so people can get to know you as an artist. I always recommend to have a pinned tweet at the top with a thread about you, your background and work wok so people can have that quick reference if they want to learn about you. You can also go follow the people that I follow on twitter which are a mixt of artists, collectors, community builders, etc. 2. Take your time. NFTs are a fast-paced environment but taking your time will allow you to create connection first and develop a strategy for selling your work that fully aligns with your creative vision. I took 5 months to fuller understand the space before making any NFTs.
