Urban Masterplan Competition 🌱🤘 — For the “Greening the Industrial City” competition, participants are asked to submit a masterplan proposal for a centrally located industrial park in Houston that was built over a natural waterway. The industrial park is one of the largest industrial parcels in Houston’s East End and served as a manufacturing facility for Hughes Tools in the 20th century. Find clever ways to expose the natural beauty of the waterway underneath the industrial park and provide your vision for sustainable and equitable development in East Houston.
