To end our roundup of popular content from 2022, we’re looking back at six musical performances by some of today’s most acclaimed creative voices that have taken place inside Gagosian exhibitions this year. These include three performances at our galleries in New York as part of Gagosian Sessions, a spin-off of Gagosian Premieres: Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah (@christianscottofficial) inside “Awol Erizku: Memories of a Lost Sphinx;” Laura Ortman (@ortwoman) inside "Nam June Paik: Art in Process: Part One;” and John Zorn and Bill Laswell in "Sterling Ruby: TURBINES.” Alina Ibragimova and Mario Brunello also performed solos by Bach within Richard Serra’s sculpture “Transmitter,” as part of a live concert organized in collaboration with Bold Tendencies (@boldtendencies) at Gagosian, Le Bourget. Additionally, Pete Drungle (@drungle) was in residence as part of “Urs Fischer: CHAOS #1–#500” at Gagosian at Marciano Art Foundation in Los Angeles, performing throughout the open hours.
