A pinnacle moment in Romo’s history, we recently achieved 120 years in business. Over the years, we're incredibly proud to have created and supported long-term change within our local and wider communities. As a successful, family run business, giving back through meaningful partnerships and fundraising efforts is an important part of our journey, a passion that is shared by our loyal employees. Romo has been supporting @oxfamgb in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) since 2005, by donating a portion of profits. With Oxfam’s knowledge and Romo’s funding, the past 17 years has changed thousands of families lives for the better, through building and rehabilitating schools, and improving the facilities and governance provided. The current phase of the project focuses on improving the quality of and access to primary education for over 17,000 children and strengthening school governance structures. During the last 5-year period, we have made a difference to the lives of 12,624 school children (7,349 girls and 5,275 boys) and a further 25,576 people indirectly. This entire project is the continuation of Romo’s long term investment in education in the province of Equateur. #theromogroup #romofabrics
