“Meet Dave - he was a stray cat who kept coming to visit us every night. My mum said we shouldn't feed him as we didn't know if he had an owner. Dave (as we called him) was very persistent - but we noticed he was getting thin, and then my dad found him sleeping in derelict garages by our house. My mum tried to find his owner, but nobody came forward so I started looking after him. Dave came into my life when I was being bullied and I was poorly. He never left my side. He looks after me. Dave is my everything. He is so funny, he loves my hair when it's wet and tries to groom me! He knows when I have had a bad day at school (as I get picked on for not being interested in make-up or love Island). Dave is there right by my side. Some people would say I saved Dave but to me, he is my saviour as he looks after me all the time.
