@lifebyvivien Nine-Ten Restaurant Brunch in La Jolla Recognized with Michelin Guide 2024 distinction, Nine Ten serves evolving Californian cuisine emphasizing a farm to table philosophy. I had dinner here once before and most recently returned for brunch. What I tried: * Hamachi sashimi * Grilled Spanish octopus * Yellowtail tacos * French toast * Smoked salmon avocado toast * Verlasso salmon The presentation of each of these dishes was so visually striking, with contrasting colors and textures. Firstly a feast for the eyes but also a feast for the stomach 😋 I loved all the seafood from the melt-in-your-mouth hamachi sashimi to the tender verlasso salmon. The sashimi was sooo tasty with mushrooms and sauce. The salmon also had great flavor. The tacos and avocado toast were good, and the grilled octopus had the perfect texture, pairing well with the salad.
