Bella Hunt & Ddc's potential for timelessness, even atemporality, is powerfully embodied in the "Flamme drapée" edition. It is the result of a long theoretical and technical work around the drape, a transhistorical motif par excellence, which has crossed all periods, from Antiquity to the present day. The polished flame, an art object made of aluminium or bronze, reflects in its undulations the memory of its previous incarnations, from the marble togas of the Greco-Roman era to the neo-classical brass torches of the 1940s, via the Palladian fire pots. @bellahuntddc
