2 sunscreens from @theskinhouse_official (*gifted) with exact same UV filters and very similar ingredients - what differs is the existence of Tea Tree & CICA extract on the green version. which one is better? for the purpose of this review: 💚 UV PROTECTION SUN BLOCK TEA TREE SPF 50+ PA+++ 💙 UV PROTECTION SUN BLOCK SPF 50+ PA+++ TYPE: 💚💙 Hybrid (Mineral + Chemical) SPF • UV FILTERS: 💚💙 micro Titanium Dioxide, micro Zinc Oxide, Octinoxate, Amiloxate & Enzacamene. • ATTRIBUTES: 💚 no alcohol, fragrance & EOs. 💙 no alcohol & EOs, has fragrance. both are sweat/waterproof! • TEXTURE: 💚 creamy texture, pasty & turn a tad powdery when blended. takes more time to blend & absorb. 💙 typical K-SPF’s lotion texture that blends easily & smoothly. • SCENT: 💚 mild chemical scent. 💙 strong men’s perfume. it gave me headache as it lingered until EOD. • FINISH: 💚 matte finish with a bit of tackiness initially, but it goes away. has minimal white cast (natural brightening effect on me). not drying! 💙 semi-matte finish, not heavy or greasy. surprisingly no white cast on my skin but it leaves a bit of stickiness. feels drying as the day goes. • RECOMMENDED FOR: 💚 oily, sensitive skin. 💙 oily, non-sensitive skin. • PRICE: 💚💙USD 10.88 for 50ml on Yesstyle SGD 30 on Shopee SG MY PREFERENCE: definitely Tea Tree! 💚 while the texture takes longer to work with, i’m digging the natural tone-up look it gives on my skin, making my overall complexion look more fresh & even. 😍 i like how easy 💙 applies, and impressed with the almost non-existent white cast considering it’s a hybrid, but that strong perfume really gotta go. i wouldn’t recommend both to any skin types except oily skin as they’re not moisturizing at all, sometimes drying even my oily skin whenever i only applied a thin layer of moisturizer under. i also don’t prefer using them over my other sunscreens with higher PA rating, especially for outdoors. i didn’t experience any pilling, stinging & irritation though! however, i wouldn’t purchase them myself as there are other better sunscreens. would you like to to try? 👀
