O-H...I-O!!! The Ohio State Buckeyes are college football’s 2025 National Champions!!! My best friend since childhood, Bill Gyurky, and I made the trip to Atlanta last night to witness the greatest event in college football, our beloved Buckeyes winning it all.. I’ve known Bill for over 40 years.. He and I played little league baseball together, he was the drummer in my first rock band in junior high school all through high school, we were in jazz, marching band, symphonic band, rhythm section in show choir, and he was my college roommate at @theohiostateuniversity in fall of 1989.. We’ve had so many fun and memorable times together but I think none as great as last night.. I’m a die hard Buckeyes fan but Bill bleeds Scarlet and Grey.. It’s who he is.. And to witness and experience the emotions with him last night makes me get emotional because I know how much it meant for him to be there.. I was so excited to tell him that we were going to the game.. He couldn’t believe it.. And for the Buckeyes to win it all? Wow.. It was awesome.. An incredible night and incredible season..
