It’s not always easy managing the instability of self employment — even harder as a mom when I now have limited time and a family to take care of. I worry sometimes that I don’t have a salary or a regular paycheque. I didn’t get maternity leave or EI, and don’t get sick days or vacation. I can’t control if client work suddenly ends or what new opportunities will pop up next.
