As part of “Tune” at Haus der Kunst”, Caterina Barbieri created musical experiences amidst an expansive floor-to-ceiling video installation by artist Ruben Spini, including music from her new album “Spirit Exit” and her newly launched label light-years. Mechanical and alive at the same time, the composer and musician integrates sound into her compositions which trigger temporal and spatial hallucinations. Her music deals with female mysticism, as well as cyber culture, post-humanist theories and the human relationship to nature.
