Building my segment with @tetongravity this year changed the trajectory of my career, and my life. Maybe that’s not as crazy as it sounds, because building a seg is always heavy business. But this one was different...I proposed a fully human powered season in the Tetons and @tetonjon trusted me to get it done. He also hooked me up with @nathanielmurphy (which was a real stroke of genius). Having Nat, and later @clark_bird and @nick_russelll , out there and by my side is really what made the difference. Nothing in this world of production and mountaineering happens alone. Those three provided the guidance and confidence that led to my proudest moments in the mountains; a culmination of my life’s work (so far).
