We burn out quickly when our goals aren’t aligned with how we live our lives. Everyday we are allotted energy and it’s up to us to decide how we will disperse of it.
A routine helps to regulate allocation of our energy. It helps us to prioritize what’s important and what’s needed daily. It gives room for accountability of task completion, but also leaves space for flexibility. No matter how busy I am, there are some parts of my routine that are consistent no matter where I am or what I’m doing. 🗣ROUTINE! 🗣LIFESTYLE!
As a mommy/model/entrepreneur, I would be no good without having created structure to hold me down because “life stay life’ing.” So building a lifestyle has been key to me getting it all done! I’m in daily pursuit of getting it done. I can control my flow, but the habits that I keep, but again, still leaving room for life to flow as it does naturally. Sometimes, the flow is heavy and sometimes, it’s light, but either way, I’m staying afloat by prioritizing myself through self care of my body, my mind, my relationships, my career...really my life as a whole.
And let’s be clear. “Getting it all done” doesn’t mean I am able to do everything! It just means that I am able to do everything that need to do. Let’s call it organizing the priorities!
