Well do I have a story... So I’m in the process of moving right now and recently reserved a storage unit online. I went to go claim the unit only to realize it was the storage facility in the old Cinovation building. I got to speaking with the manager there and asked him if he ever knew about Rick’s studio before the storage facility acquired it. He wasn’t completely aware so I filled him in on how amazing the studio was and mentioned I work in the same field. He lit up a bit and said they left something pretty cool behind. He walked me through the break room to the corner of the janitors closet and opened the fuse box. There taped to the door were these Polaroids from what looks like the late 90’s / early 2000’s of all the Cinovation crew. I really couldn’t believe what I was looking at to be honest. So much effects history, talent, and memories in these pictures. I’m not totally sure if these were meant to be left as a memento to the studio but if not I’m seriously thinking about seeing if the door can be taken off and archived. “It belongs in a museum!” I hope everyone appreciates the blast from the past.
