It was never a dream or goal of mine to be a salon owner. In fact, I can’t count how many times I said I would *never* own a salon. But I now know it was absolutely inevitable for me to be in this role. Especially in this particular space, with some very special women along side me. I found myself on this path and I cannot imagine my life without it! This space is a vessel for other stylists and myself to live out their best career lives behind the chair. For some of us, it’s a space to build a boss babe empire in. For others it’s a space to have incredible flexibility in schedules and finances in order to be the best wife and mother. As the owner, I support all of those dreams- and everything in between. I own the space for my team to be their best selves and offer their best to their clients and families alike. Because of this space I am a proud salon owner, a hair stylist, a leader, a mentor, a student, a friend. This is the space I spend most of my days in, and the space that is home to making my next ambitions come to life. Salon ownership is not all rainbows and sunshine at times. A complete gut-job remodel with your husband and family members is definitely not for the faint of heart. But I can honestly say I’ve never felt so sure of myself as I have in this past year. And because I make sure to do the work in operating this place like the bad ass business she is- it’s been one of the biggest gifts I’ve been blessed with in life!
