Long run Sunday ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Here are some tips for running in hot/humid weather: 1. Wake up early to beat the heat โฐ 2. Hydrate before, during, and after (using @genucan choc energy + protein right after I finish my progression long run). Shane will bike & hand me fluids every ~4 miles or I will do loops myself! Doing this helps with recovery ๐Ÿ‘ 3. Choose run locations that offer a good amount of shade! Lincoln Woods is one of my fave Rhode Island spots when itโ€™s sunny โ˜€๏ธ I started my run here and finished at a bike path that also offered some good protection 4. Adjust paces accordingly! Go based off effort when the conditions are really brutal 5. Remind yourself how amazing youโ€™re going to feel once fall rolls around ๐Ÿ‚I latch onto this positive thought during the worst of the summer months. It motivates me to grind through these miles lol
