We proudly announce the conclusion of the restoration of the Monumental Staircase built by the architect Mauro Codussi in 1498 for the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista. Venetian Heritage adopted this important restoration project in 2018 as the two-stairway monumental staircase precarious static condition required immediate structural works. A conservative restoration of all the decorated surfaces has been also carried out. With the aim to enhance this Early Renaissance architectural masterpiece a new lighting system has been installed.
