It’s was an honor to serve @casadragones 🥂Repost from @hammer_museum on Saturday night was thrilled to honor artist Charles Gaines and ACLU lawyer and transgender rights activist Chase Strangio at our first in-person Gala in the Garden since 2019. Highlights from the evening included moving tributes from Mark Bradford and Laverne Cox, a live performance by Gabriels, and a mezmerizing art installation by Refik Anadol. The Gala raised $2.2 million to support the Hammer’s dynamic and internationally acclaimed exhibitions and public programs, which are free to the public.
