One of the most common questions I get as a psychologist:
🧠“How do I know if it’s my anxiety talking… or my intuition?”
Here are three ways to tell the difference:
- Anxiety is fast. Intuition is slow.
- Anxiety is about the future. Intuition is about the present.
- Anxiety comes and goes. Intuition stays steady.
The truth is, so many of us mistake anxiety for intuition, and it can keep us stuck in fear, overthinking, and self-doubt.
But when you learn to slow down, listen, and notice the difference… You get to trust yourself in a deeper way.
