Sunset from Cylinder (Beach)... we are about to get a big storm here at sunset today so here’s one from last weekend that is a lot prettier. I literally ran down to the beach when I saw those pink clouds forming last weekend. I missed the best of the light but the reverse sunset sky is pretty enough to post. I’m back into the city later this week for some night shots. I still have lots of travel photos to post so thanks for hanging in there if you are missing the night photography. PS I feel eternally grateful to return home from travel to the pristine coastline we have. This is North Stradbroke Island. It’s Indigenous name Minjerribah means “island in the sun”. At 275 square kilometres, it is the world’s second largest sand island. It is home to rare and threatened plant and animal species.
