You guys... I’m starting to do curly hair. I am not claiming to be good at it yet. I am at the extreme basic level like straight up beauty college if they actually taught you how to do curly hair in beauty school. The things I thought I knew and the curly hair classes Ive been through, were based upon selling products and were completely wrong. I’ve learned so much more and just one class from @camillejanaehair and the person I constantly learn from @_beautynative . There is 1 billion more things I need to learn. Curly hair is so overlooked in our industry. I literally can’t even believe how intense I feel about figuring this out for the lack of it in my community. I exited a basic class where I felt completely humbled by the lack of education I have towards curly hair. And let me tell you I’ve been through years of training for intensive corrective coloring/cutting But nothing had prepared me for what I am lacking in the knowledge of this. When I say that I feel like I’m at step one that is an understatement . I may be good at lot of other things when it comes to hair but this is something I am humbling myself to completely. I have some personal things going on and once those are done I will start taking curly haired models. Probably In about 2 to 3 months.
