For those of you who are new here, I’d like to let you know that intersex people exist and that you’ve probably interacted with an intersexy person before without knowing and I am one of them. Subsequent to my diagnosis with complete androgen insensitivity syndrome, music lamented it’s place in my life as an outlet and a source of support. My song Femme is thus an ode to navigating this heteronormative world as an intersex women. It’s a dedication to anyone that does not fit societal norms.
