👩🏻‍🏫 YES WE CAN MAKES HISTORY 🚌 . On Thursday September 8th 2022; Yes We Can World Foundation and the Secretary of Education in Mexico came together to expand their yearly partnership indefinitely with a historic agreement! 👩🏻‍🏫🎓✨ . For the first time in history the Secretary of Education B.C MX, has accredited a new education model designed to formally teach migrant children at the US - MX border. . That model is the Yes We Can Mobile Schools Program 👩🏻‍🏫🚌🎉 . This agreement and partnership mandates that migrant children have the right to a formal education through the Yes We Can Mobile Schools program. The program is the first of its kind to provide all students with an official program certificate equivalent to one of a public school 🎓✨ . This means ALL children enrolled at Yes We Can programs enter at their current grade level and throughout their time at Yes We Can will advance in their studies with their respective grade curriculum in addition to the specialty courses of the Yes We Can model 👩🏻‍🏫. . Yes We Can will then provide an official school certificate validated by the education board in Mexico that works as an official transcript for international school enrollment once children migrate to their final destination 👧🏽👦🏻🚸🏫👩🏻‍🏫. . The expansion of this partnership between Yes We Can and the education board will now be indefinite for years to come and therefore guarantee that migrant children have access to full time formal education that is accredited. This agreement is also protected by the Secretary of Education regardless of changes in government. . We accomplished our mission 🫶🏽🚌👩🏻‍🏫🎉 .
