Rockin the Chop 💇‍♀️ 34 Year 12 girls from The Rockhampton Grammar School in Queensland have banded together for another year to raise money for Sustainable Salons and Cancer Council Ponytail Project 💗 - supporting people impacted by cancer. @therockhamptongrammarschool Year 12 girls have raised $25,583 so far! Check out their fundraising page below 💝 🧠 Did you know that in 2015, a member of the St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School parent community was diagnosed with breast cancer which led some of their students to launch a student-led fundraising initiative they called ‘The Ponytail Project’, believing that chopping off their ponytails was a small price to pay to support those impacted by cancer. 🙌 The Ponytail Project received an outpouring of support in its inaugural year, inspiring the drive for an annual campaign.
