Story time : Some of our team is over at @rifflandia and so obvs we have to go to the riot grrrl sermon that is @bikinikill.official . We make our way to the front and up there we meet a girl who is maybe 10 there with her mom. She wants to get closer but is nervous about getting squished or bumped. We promise we will help keep her safe. She is brave and wiggles right up front where she, at least a foot shorter than everyone , jumps and screams the whole set . Near the end things get a little rowdy and we keep our promise and act as a buffer while her and mom jump and scream along to « rebel girl » They found us after and her mom thanked us for being in community. The little girl was crying, we cried - we all leave weeping. 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Really this is why this project exists. So the mini rebel girls and littles of all genders will always feel safe and protected at shows . We love you @mskathleenhanna . Grrrl power can change the world, for real.
