it’s an honor for me to walk and laugh together in this life: my biggest privilege is to be your mom, my darling boy. If I look back and I think of that time when I first found out that I would be a mom, that very early period of excitement but also of fears and insecurities, and everything that has happened in between since then, and everything that I was able to overcome with strength and grace, it is with endless tenderness that I see myself back then and I know within my heart how that version of myself would be so very proud of how far I’ve come. And because of that, that simple knowledge fills my heart with pride and joy. True love really makes you achieve the unthinkable.
