Had the immense pleasure of attending Springboard Danse this year! @springboarddanse I am walking away from this experience so grateful for every single moment. Thank you to all who made it so special. Each person I met during these 3 weeks were all astonishing dancers as well as incredible humans. It was beautiful to reconnect with old friends and a blessing to make new ones. You are all so special and I cannot wait to see what is next for everyone. Thank you @alexandrawells.dance , @pointparku , and the Springboard team for this amazing opportunity. What you have created is beyond beautiful. I’m so thankful for my time at Springboard Danse. To @lajafield , I had the greatest time diving into your world of movement and theatre. Thank you for pushing us all to a deeper level of creation and thought. This piece was immensely fun and such a great challenge in many ways. Your movement language is so rich and I am leaving with so much knowledge as well as curiosity. I wish we could do it one more time! Thank you Laja. To @_bryanarias_ , I have never been in a process like yours. Thank you for giving us the space to share our personal stories with an audience. To be vulnerable about my medical condition and have it heard by others changed a lot for me. I truly appreciate your approach to creation and I’m so blessed to have been apart of it. I will always remember this process and the knowledge that came from it. Thank you Bryan. To the people I shared the space with, It was an honor to dance beside you all. Thank you for sharing who you are with me. I’ve learned so much from each person and I am beyond inspired. You are all such beautiful artists and great human beings.
