$13 vs $40 sunscreen, yet they’re very very similar. are they truly dupes? which one is better? 👀 both are the renewed versions of their previous formulas. for the purpose of this review: 🦋 ETUDE Sunprise Mild Airy Finish SPF50+ PA++++ 🌼 ANESSA Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk SPF50+ PA++++ TYPE: 🦋 Mineral spf 🌼 Hybrid (Mineral & Chemical) spf • UV FILTERS: 🦋 nano Zinc Oxide 🌼 Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Octocrylene, Octisalate, Uvinul A Plus, Homosalate, Uvinul T 150, Parsol SLX, and Tinosorb S • ATTRIBUTES: 🦋 no alcohol & EOs, has fragrance. not waterproof. 🌼 no EOs, has alcohol & fragrance. waterproof! • TEXTURE: 🦋 lightweight, liquid milk texture. slightly thicker consistency compared to Anessa. a bit streaky when blend. leave initial white cast. 🌼 lightweight, liquid milk texture that is more runny and watery compared to Etude. blends effortlessly without white cast on me. • SCENT: 🦋 sweet floral, baby powder scent. 🌼 floral but it’s less pleasant compared to Etude. both fragrance can be too strong for some. • FINISH: 🦋🌼 powdery, satin finish at first but they dried down quickly into a Matte finish. little to no white cast on me. both are not drying & non-sticky! • RECOMMENDED FOR: 🦋🌼 oily, non-sensitive skin. • PRICE: 🦋 USD13, 55ml 🌼 USD30-40, 60ml MY PREFERENCE: guys i can’t choose! 😭 both give me a lovely Matte yet non-drying finish which i’ve been looking for in a matte sunscreen. i honestly couldn’t tell the difference once they dried down on my skin. i also didn’t experience any pilling, stinging & irritation from using them both. i think it all comes down to your budget, lifestyle and personal preference. if you’re looking for one that you can always repurchase without making your wallet cry, definitely go for Etude. if you’re someone with a more active lifestyle or if you’re just feeling boujee, go for Anessa. if your skin is very sensitive to chemical sunscreen, go for Etude. which one do you prefer? 👀
