💜💪🏼Because dragging it to hell is LONG overdue. We are no longer protecting abusers by staying silent. We are no longer remaining in the shadows of abuse bc of fear of judgement and ridicule. 🗣️Christopher Haskell…you no longer get to hide behind my shame. I’m accountable to self enough to know I allowed you to say and do unimaginable things to me. You not only abused me physically, you killed my dog, burned my apartment down, and tazed me in front of our children. The same children you told me, AND reiterated would be “daddy-less damaged black girls”, if I refused to be with you. You’re an abuser and the facade ends here. For so long, as survivors, we have been told to move on. We’re told that any mention of our abuser or the abuse that took place is a sign of healing needing to be done. We’re told once we finally heal, we will no longer seek to tell “our side”. Well I’m here to say “NOT ANYMORE”. As survivors, we deserve to not only share our stories in hopes of helping others, but to also speak OUR TRUTH!
