Contrary to popular belief, I actually spend quite a few hours a day on my computer answering emails, doing calls with brand partners, writing copy for social media, brainstorming speeches, developing workshops. But the minute I’m done, wherever I happen to be, and this time it was Michigan!!!, I close the computer, and head out to explore. I love places that have everything I need as a human being–art, great food, people, and the GREAT OUTDOORS. Michigan has all of the above! I started out in Grand Rapids (check out the Meijer Gardens yo!—FANTASTIC), hit the beautifully green Mackinac Bridge which spans over the unreal blues of cold and refreshing Mackinac Straits, and ended up in gorgeous Marquette at Presque Isle and Sugarloaf Mountain.
