To be honest, I was really disappointed that they weren’t carrying any of my books there. Princess Charming had apparently sold out and not reordered?! No Bookends. Even when you have a book published, it doesn’t mean it gets into every bookstore. Rejection never really stops. Being an author requires a really thick skin. The important part is to focus on every single reader. Not numbers or distribution. But how your book has impacted actual readers and what THEY say. That is the magic of it all.
