💋 What you need to know for Dark Lip 💋 ✅ Don't over exfoliate - I used to ask clients to exfoliate their lips for a week prior to the appointment and through that experience, I now prefer no exfoliation (there is no wrong or right way). Chapped lips are harder to work with but I find that less exfoliated lips bring far better results than the lips with thin skin which can easily bleed. In my experience, less damage is the key to great retention. I used to have clients with extreme swelling and bleeding and now there is nearly no bleeding. This means my pressure is very light which helps reduce swelling. ✅ Stay Hydrated - Lips will heal much better if your client remembers to stay hydrated after the procedure. Apply the aftercare balm religiously all the time, keep them hydrated! ✅ Multiple Sessions - Depending on how saturated their lips are, it can required 1 to 3 sessions to achieve a desired result.
