“I rescued my bunny Thumper from one of my partner's friends who sadly wasn’t looking after him properly - to the extent that they would never let him out the cage, he was never given hay, fed museli food, his nails were so long he struggled to walk and he had never been vaccinated. We booked him into our local vets and took him to get vaccinated. He had hardly any energy due to constantly being kept in his cage and he had a really awful ear infection. We got his nails cut so he could walk properly and without pain. Furthermore, he had no fur near his eyes as he had blocked tear ducts which he has eye drops for which we have to put in three times a day to prevent them from blocking up. When we first got him we slowly worked with him to get his leg strength up building it up day by day and not rushing him, and slowly he managed to learn to go up and down stairs and since then there's been no stopping him! Since coming to live with us he has had the best life being spoilt rotten with free run of our house all day and a balanced diet of hay, pellets, veggies, fruit, salad and fresh water!” Thank you Sharna for rescuing Thumper and for giving him the best life possible.
