What age is too young (or old) to zip line in Hawaii? Often there are restrictions to age and weight, but we found one that allowed our 9 year old lightweight (48 lbs) plus our 83 year old uncle! 🎉 (There really isn’t an older-age restriction, as that’s up to the individual but we were sure pleased he was up to the fun with the whole fam!) @botanicalworldadventures near Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii provided an awesome family zip-lining experience with 8 total zips, ranging from short to long and longer, through the trees, over rivers and wide-spanning ocean and waterfall views! This zip line excursion simply required that you hold on— the guides did all the rest, including gently stopping you, giving you a starting push if you wanted, and navigating you throughout the course, safely hooking you in and out on each line.
