This is your sign to follow your heart, take that trip, book that flight and start the car, whether you are alone or have company, if you have a trip on mind, just SEND IT. Life is too short to wait, to doubt, or to waste... I went on a solo trip to Oregon 2 weeks ago, I loved every minute of the trip and felt so alive. I’m glad that I got to take a few trips with many creatives so far this year, I have learned so much from them and really enjoy their company but I also miss go on trips by myself and follow my own pace. Here are a few tips that may help you to prepare your first time solo trip (I flew from Las Vegas to Eugene and picked up a car rental) 👉🏼Visit somewhere that you’ve been to before, and add a few more destinations in the area to check out 👉🏼Do research, utilize Google maps/Google Earth to check road accessibilities and conditions. To be honest, Instagram is a great research tool these days, I’ve found 80% of my destination inspiration on this platform. BUT PLEASE PLEASE just don’t just ask the creators “WHERE IS THIS?”... Remember that many creators or photographers spend hours and hours on researching for a location; it’s really disrespectful if you just DM them and ask for coordinates 💀. 👉🏼Download offline maps on Google Maps App. Trust me, it comes in really handy. 👉🏼Turo is a great platform for car rental. I’ve rented cars from it a few times and my experiences were all pleasant so far. 👉🏼I use Accuweather.com to check the weather forecast, it seems to be 80% accurate even for a month in advance. 👉🏼Utilize a local Amazon locker hubs. I ordered a few necessities, such as pepper sprays in advance and have them to be picked it up at the local Amazon locker hub to save me sometime. Any other solo trip tips?
