300,000 NHS nurses are set to go on strike for fair pay, improved staffing levels and importantly to stand up for patient care. Strike action will only affect non-urgent care. As a doctor, I’ve seen day in day out the dedication nurses show to their patients in the most difficult of circumstances. I don’t know of one nurse that puts themselves in front of their patients.
