Our house is quiet. This morning we said goodbye to our sweet baby boy Lucas Meyer. We are happy our boy is no longer suffering, no longer weak, no longer hanging on. I’m finding comfort knowing he had the happiest life. He was spoiled every single day. He was loved. And our worlds revolved around him...which is exactly what he wanted. Luc passed today at our home. He was comfortable and content as Ben held him in his arms...the same way he came home with us. As he drifted away it was peaceful and quiet. Needless to say, we are devastated and heart-broken, but we both feel so fortunate to have had so many wonderful years and endless happy memories with the sweetest boy. We love you Lucas Meyer and miss you so much. Thank you for giving us your love and bringing us so much joy. Sleep well Sweet Baby.
