Make butter with me: You’ll need: Good quality heavy cream Kitchen aid Strainer Mixing bowls Salt (if you want salted butter) Parchment paper or jars for storing Make sure cream is COLD and add to kitchen aid with whisk attachment. Mix on medium speed. Cream will change from liquid to whipped cream to butter + buttermilk separated. Covering with a towel can really help with the mess. Once butter has formed, strain butter from buttermilk. Be sure to save buttermilk for biscuits or pancakes :) Rinse butter using the coldest water possible and knead and rinse until water runs mostly clear and no more pockets of buttermilk remain (this will make it turn sour more quickly). Add salt. Divide into desired portions and store in container of choice. I like glass jars or parchment paper. Enjoy on literally anything 🤤
