Two years ago, Kristian’s career unexpectedly came to an end. He had worked for the last fifteen years to get where he was, but more than that, it was his dream job. He had dreamed of it since he was 13. On his last day I wrote him this letter, “To my wild—hearted lover, It’s time to dust off the compass and map, dig up the binoculars.
