Ahhhh!!! @variety has announced our film - now called "Popular Theory' (because apparently the title "Erwin" evokes images of an elderly German fisherman???). In all honesty, I'm glad we had to change it. "Popular Theory" gets across the film's sophistication and potential for a broader audience. I can't believe we're finally here! I owe absolutely everything to my brilliant actors and the hardworking women and men who showed up on set, day after day, often in difficult conditions, to fight for this movie's life. I truly believe that films are living creatures and we (the cast and crew) communally birth that creature. Each and every one of you poured your sweat and love into my quirky, weird, but oh-so-genuine little creature. YOU brought her to life ❤️❤️❤️ I was only allowed to tag 20 People in this post... which is so dumb because 20 people doesn’t even cover all of our brilliant teen actors!
