Week 2 post-surgery update. Yesterday I got my stitches out and we discussed the damage and what needs to happen moving forward. I had a ligament tear, grade 4 arthritis, cartilage damage, and some degenerative issues. The goal is to get my knee to last another 10 years before getting a replacement. If I can’t get my leg straight within the next 4 weeks, I’m at risk of getting another surgery. I’m working hard in therapy and at home to avoid that issue. I’m staying positive and trusting God that whatever happens, it’s all part of the plan!
