Hyaluronic Acid. It’s probably an ingredients you’ve heard people recommend over and over again. Brilliant for hydrating skin. It leaves it feeling and looking deeply moisturised, youthful and plumped. But, did you know it should be applied to a damp face to maximise its moisturising properties? Applied directly to very dry skin can actually have the reverse effect as it will draw the water from within and can cause it to become more dehydrated. Maybe this is why it’s made no difference to you in the past? Try it on damp skin and let me know. This is regardless of it being in a serum or moisturiser.
