This photo is a really big deal to me. @bettymwhite is the queen, end of story. And I have personal history with her. Exactly 119 years ago, I was @bettymwhite dresser on Golden Girls. When they shot the show, it was done in front of a studio audience, 3 cameras, all at one time. There was no stopping once they called action. And somehow Betty and I ended up in the hallway, unbeknownst to us the back doors were locked, as the camera came around the corner, Betty shoved me into one of the utility closets and jumped in with me and there we were in the dark while they shot an entire scene with Dorothy and Blanche. 25 years later, I was hired as a creative director and photographer to shoot for a tv show called “Off Their Rockers.” And when I showed up on set, the crazy old bird remembered me. So I came up with the concept of modeling a photo based on a photograph of the queen of England by Annie Leibovitz. Also, getting to put my boys in tights.
